Proposal for Tolosaldea town hall and schools
To complete the catalog of the black spots in Tolosaldea that we have mentioned, the help of the public is essential. They are the ones who know the environment best. In order to achieve this collaboration, we want to offer a traveling exhibition of photos and garbage (extracted from the local caves) to all the Town Halls of Tolosaldea. In addition to setting up the exhibition in the towns for a week, we present a conference to present our intentions and tasks.
To take the exhibition and conference to the towns, it is enough to contact us and ask. We will approach with pleasure and desire. On the day we arrange the speech, every citizen will be given the opportunity to put their doubts, concerns or other things on the table.
Our goal, with the financial support of the Environment department of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and under the umbrella of the Aranzadi Science Association, is to develop the most complete catalog possible. Once the catalog is completed and presented to the Provincial Council (at the end of 2024), we will move on to cleaning up these black spots. Using the financial support of the Department of the Environment of the Provincial Council, a company made up of speleologists and workers who have worked at heights will be created.
This new company, which will be formed by Lurpea Garbi Elkartea, will carry out the cleaning of the "black spots" shown in the catalog. Due to the large number of contaminated caves, sinkholes, caves and drains, the Association has established certain priorities to start the work. Alas, garbage pollution
or the level of risk, the flow of water they receive...
We have a great opportunity to prevent the pollution of our threatened groundwater. It is everyone's job to find a solution to this potential problem. This is the goal and the task of Lurpea Garbi, but for this the support of the citizens, the City Hall and the higher administration is essential. Gathering information is the first step. The sovereignty of all water is at stake. Current and future generations will appreciate it.
